Biography

Vincenzo Terranova arrived from Sicily in the early twentieth century and became entwined with immigrant networks that shaped Manhattan's underworld, rising to a prominent position within the nascent Italian-American organized crime scene.

His life remains part of the complex history of the era, and while his role is examined with honesty and sobriety, his name endures in the stories of the city he helped shape; he is interred at Calvary Cemetery.
