Biography
Vladimir Ivanov was a Soviet politician active in the political structures of the early Soviet state. He served during a period of significant political change and consolidation of Soviet power, contributing to the administrative and political development of the Soviet system.
Ivanov fell victim to the Great Purge, a campaign of political repression that claimed countless lives among the Soviet leadership and intelligentsia. He was executed at the Kommunarka shooting ground in 1938, becoming one of many politicians eliminated during this period of terror.
