Biography

William Talbot Truxtun rose through the ranks of the U.S. Navy, guiding crews through changing seas and safeguarding American interests on distant waters.

After decades of service he returned to civilian life, and his memory remains in Elmwood Cemetery where he rests beside fellow sailors.
