Yevgeny Abramovich Baratynsky (1800–1844) was a distinguished Russian poet whose lyrical works exemplified the sensibilities of the Romantic era. Despite his tragically short life, he produced poetry of remarkable depth and emotional resonance that influenced Russian literary tradition.
