Bill Smith’s warmth, curiosity, and dedication to civic life touched many in Oʻahu, where he worked behind the scenes to support cultural events and civic partnerships.
He took pleasure in mentoring younger advocates and felt a deep responsibility to keep local histories alive, so that future generations could take pride in the place they called home.
