Ellen McKenna (1819-1883) devoted herself to family and friends in Louisville, quietly meeting the demands of household and community life in an era of rapid growth.

Her thoughtful hospitality and calm demeanor comforted many, and today those memories rest alongside her at Calvary Cemetery.
