Biography

Fitzhugh Lee was a distinguished Confederate general and nephew of Robert E. Lee who played a significant role in the Civil War's cavalry operations. Born in Virginia, he demonstrated exceptional military leadership throughout the conflict, commanding cavalry divisions and earning respect for his tactical acumen and bravery in battle.
