Françoise Chauvin Beaulieu de Monpliaisir Dragon (1755–1822) came from one of Louisiana's prominent Creole families. Her life reflected the complex social and cultural heritage of New Orleans, connecting multiple distinguished family lines through her lineage and marriage.

She was interred in Saint Louis Cemetery No. 1, where she rests among the city's most respected families and historical figures.
