George Lyttleton Upshur

Biography

George Lyttleton Upshur was born in 1856 and answered the call of service as a Naval Officer, dedicating himself to the safety and guidance of those who relied on his leadership.

He died in 1938 and was laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery, where fellow servicemen and beloved family members honor the discipline and quiet courage he carried through every command.
