Harrison Jeffords

Biography

Harrison Jeffords, a native of Michigan, answered the call to serve in the Union Army and joined the 24th Michigan Infantry as a steadfast soldier.

At Gettysburg he carried the colors with unwavering resolve, and when he was struck down at Little Round Top he became an emblem of the sacrifice so many made to preserve the Union.
