Biography

Irving Goff matured at the turn of the century and carried forward a strong sense of duty as a military officer who kept calm in moments of rapid technological change.

He insisted that character mattered as much as competence, sharing lessons with newer generations and supporting veterans' circles, and he now rests at Arlington National Cemetery.
