Biography

Olinto M. Barsanti rose through the ranks of the U.S. Army to lead air cavalry formations, applying helicopter mobility to new tactics in Vietnam while drawing on experiences from earlier conflicts.

He championed innovation, personal courage, and care for the soldiers he commanded, and his final resting place is Arlington National Cemetery.
