Reginald Lewis built TLC Group into one of the nation’s leading African-American-owned business conglomerates, becoming the first African American to lead a billion-dollar company and capturing the nation’s attention with a signature deal for Beatrice Foods.
He channeled his success into mentoring young entrepreneurs and supporting educational institutions, and he now rests at New Cathedral Cemetery, remembered for opening doors in corporate America.
