Biography

Robert J. Walker (1801–1869) was a prominent politician whose career spanned the early 19th century through Reconstruction. His long life allowed him to participate in and witness the major political events and transformations that shaped the American republic.

Walker's contributions to American political life earned him a place of significance in historical records.
