Stan Martin

Biography

Stan Martin was an Australian rules football player whose career flourished in the early twentieth century. He was known for his athletic prowess and his contributions to Australian football during a significant period of the sport's development.

Martin made the ultimate sacrifice during the First World War, and his memory is preserved at the Villers–Bretonneux Australian National Memorial in France, where he is honored among the thousands of Australians who gave their lives in service.
