Biography
Theodore Link emigrated from Germany to become one of the leading architects of St. Louis, designing the majestic Union Station and other enduring civic landmarks. His mastery of Beaux-Arts principles and practical planning earned him commissions across the Midwest, where he married grandeur with functionality.
Link also contributed residential and institutional designs that shaped neighborhoods and campuses, leaving a portfolio that continues to define St. Louis's historic skyline. He died in 1923 and is honored at Bellefontaine Cemetery, where admirers remember the elegance he brought to public spaces.
