Biography

Victor S. K. Houston, who was born in 1876, became a loyal advocate for the people of Oʻahu and a link between the Hawaiian Islands and the shores beyond. He was known for his calm resolve and the respect he showed to all who sought his counsel.

In every season he invested in friendships and the civic fabric of his homeland, and his life of service continues to be honored among those interred at Oʻahu Cemetery.
