Biography

William Fessenden Allen arrived in Honolulu as a young businessman and became a trusted steward of Hawaiian finances, serving in customs and treasury positions that demanded both practical skill and sensitivity to a changing political landscape.

He balanced the needs of commerce and community, supporting education and infrastructure while honoring the monarchy and the people he served, resting now at O'ahu Cemetery.
