Biography

Ebenezer Pemberton was a clergyman whose spiritual leadership and pastoral care served the Boston community throughout his long life. His ministry spanned nearly nine decades, witnessing the religious and social transformations of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries in New England.

Pemberton's faithful service to his congregation and community is commemorated at the Granary Burying Ground, where he was interred following his death in 1835.
