Biography

Sergeant First Class Franklin D. Miller (1945-2000), a soldier whose courage earned him the Medal of Honor, embodied the highest ideals of service to his country. During the Vietnam War, he risked his own life to protect comrades, combining fierce resolve with compassion for fellow service members.

After returning home, he continued to advocate for veterans, sharing his story to remind people of the human cost of conflict while also offering mentorship to younger troops. Florida National Cemetery now safeguards his memory, honoring the bravery and care he displayed on and off the battlefield.
