Grace Arents devoted her considerable energy and resources to uplifting Richmond by funding schools, parks, and healthcare initiatives that eased burdens on working families.

An avid collector who believed access to beauty and education enriched civic life, she transformed entire neighborhoods with her philanthropic vision and left properties to the city so that future generations might benefit, now resting at Hollywood Cemetery.
