J. R. Kealoha

Biography

J. R. Kealoha was born in 1840 and dedicated his life to the service of his community during a period of momentous change. He carried himself with humility, always seeking to lend a hand where it was needed and to honor the traditions of his ancestors.

His memory is cherished at Oʻahu Cemetery, where neighbors remember him as a kind presence whose commitments reflected the best of the Hawaiian spirit.
