Biography

James M. Masters, Sr. rose through the ranks of the Marine Corps, carrying forward the ethos of honor, courage, and commitment during conflict and peace.

He nurtured esprit de corps, encouraged younger Marines to take pride in service, and now his memory is preserved at Arlington National Cemetery.
