Biography

Karl Minnigerode was a German-born clergyman and scholar who arrived in Virginia with a passion for education, eventually serving as rector of St. Paul’s Church in Richmond and sharing his love of languages and hymnody with congregations and students alike.

His gentle leadership was reflected in the music he introduced, the stories he shared of faith, and the generations of worshippers who learned from his patient guidance.
