Likelike was a member of the Hawaiian royal family during a pivotal era in the islands' history. Born in 1851, she represented the Hawaiian monarchy during a period of significant cultural and political change in the Pacific.
As Hawaiian royalty, Likelike held an important place in the kingdom's social and ceremonial life. She was interred in the Royal Mausoleum of Hawaii, the final resting place of Hawaii's royal lineage.
