Biography

Naihe was a distinguished Hawaiian chief whose life spanned the 18th and 19th centuries, from 1701 to 1831. He witnessed and participated in the significant transformations of Hawaiian society during this extended period of change and cultural evolution.

Naihe's long life and leadership made him an important figure in Hawaiian history. He was honored with burial at the Royal Mausoleum of Hawaii, a testament to his prominence and respected place among the islands' noble families.
