Biography

William Pitt Kīnau (1842–1859) was a Hawaiian prince whose brief life was marked by his royal status and the hopes placed upon the younger generation of Hawaiian nobility during a transformative period in the kingdom's history.

Though his years were few, his lineage and position reflected the continuity of Hawaiian royal traditions. He was laid to rest at the Royal Mausoleum of Hawaii.
