William Swan Plumer

Biography

William Swan Plumer, born in 1802, became a leading Presbyterian minister whose preaching, pastoral care, and theological writings guided congregations across the mid-Atlantic for generations.

He also served as a professor and author of devotional works, encouraging a love of Scripture, and he was laid to rest at Hollywood Cemetery among the friends and families he had long supported.
