Conway Robinson

Biography

Born in 1805, Conway Robinson rose to prominence as a Virginia lawyer whose thoughtful counsel was sought by clients across Richmond and the surrounding counties, and he approached every case with a calm sense of justice.

He was also a devoted student of the Commonwealth's past, preserving early legal manuscripts and encouraging colleagues to treasure the precedents that guided their profession, and he now rests in Hollywood Cemetery among those whose memory he cherished.
